Biografia
Filha do produtor de TV, John Stewart e da diretora Jules Stewart, de K-11, Kristen deu inicío à sua carreira em 1999, ao fazer uma ponta como figurante para televisão em The Thirteenth Year, da Disney. Kristen substituiu a atriz Hayden Panettiere no elenco do filme O Quarto do Pânico, como filha da personagem principal (interpretada por Jodie Foster). Também fez o filme In the Land of Women ao lado de Adam Brody e apareceu brevemente em Jumper, ao lado de Diane Lane e Hayden Christensen. Também participou em Na Natureza Selvagem.Ela já atuou ao lado de atores como Jodie Foster, Sharon Stone, Dennis Quaid, Meg Ryan, entre outros. Em2008, lançou a versão de Twilight, best-seller de Stephenie Meyer, para o cinema, em que interpreta a personagem principal, Bella Swan.
